New: Integrations page update and improved Cvent import

Happy Monday, Hopin community! We’ve got several exciting new features and functionality to share with you today, so let’s jump right in.

First, let’s start with a preview of features we’re working to release in the next couple weeks:

  • Improved Chat: Improved chat experience with added features including mentions, replies, and emojis.

  • Kahoot integration: Ability to integrate Kahoot natively within your Hopin event.

Here’s what’s new in the Hopin platform this week:

Integrations page update

In order to keep all of our integrations easily accessible in a single location we’re making a slight update to our Integrations page. For all events starting on or after April 12th Miro will appear in the Integration tab of your event dashboard. To enable Miro for your events after April 12th, visit the Integrations page and toggle the checkmark to "Enabled" for Miro. Available on all plans.

Import custom fields from Cvent

We’ve heard a lot of feedback from organizers who wanted additional import capabilities from Cvent. In the past you could only import basic information such as name and email address. Now you can import all basic information (first name, last name, email, title, headline) and all custom fields. When someone registers to your event on Cvent you can import all of these registrations into Hopin as Magic Link invitations using our improved integration. Available on advanced plans.
