Happy Tuesday, Hopin community! We’ve got several exciting new features and functionality to share with you today, so let’s jump right in.

First, let’s start with a preview of features we’re working to release in the next couple weeks:

  • New Analytics overview page: A refreshed analytics dashboard with improved graphs, tables, and new metrics.

  • Q&A Reports: Easily export questions and responses from Q&As hosted during your event.

  • Disable post-event surveys: Ability to disable post-event surveys after an event ends.

Here’s what’s new in the Hopin platform this week:

Figma integration

We're excited to announce our Figma integration. Figma is a web-based graphics editing and user interface design app used by many of our customers. This new integration provides a simple way for your team to share and gather design/prototype feedback from attendees during events. Figma can be embedded in any area of the event (stage, session, expo booth). This will allow you to share your Figma File or Prototype or a specific frame in the Figma File with your attendees on screen. Available on all plans. Learn how to use Figma integration.

Interprefy integration improvements

We’ve made some improvements to our Interprefy integration to make it easier to use. Interprefy allows you to add real-time language interpreting to your Hopin events. Currently when an attendee wants to use Interprefy to listen to a session in another language, they currently have to mute everyone on screen individually. We’ve added a mute/unmute all button will allow attendees to mute all speakers and listen in on translated audio. Available on advanced plans. Learn how to use Interprefy integration.

Enable/Disable Event Areas

When you’re creating an online event you want to ensure you're minimizing confusion for your attendees when utilizing different spaces. With this mind we've added a new feature to enable organizers to temporarily disable event areas (stage, sessions, networking, expo) in order to control access to these event areas. Prior to this change, disabling an event area would remove all of the configuration related to that area (e.g. deleting all the expo booths). Now you can more finely tune the exact experience your attendees should have. Available on all plans. Learn more.

Email verification for new and existing Hopin users

To provide an additional level of security for event organizers we will soon add verification for new and existing Hopin users. We want to offer our organizers enough time to perform the verification step and any assistance needed to avoid account limitations. With this in mind we will be delaying the addition of email verification for several weeks in order to assure a frictionless verification process. We will soon announce the exact dates and we will inform you about the process.
