New: GoFundMe Integration, Tag Management, Pages Consolidation and Updates
Happy Wednesday, Hopin community! We’ve got some exciting new features to share with you today, so let’s jump right in.
First, let’s start with a preview of features we’re working to release in the next couple weeks:
Registration and Canvas in Beta: We’ll be progressively rolling out Beta access over the next several weeks to our revamped registration suite and new website page builder. Keep an eye out in your event dashboard and try out both for your next event!
Donation collection is key to many charities and some companies. With this in mind, we are proud to announce our new Hopin integration with GoFundMe. This integration will allow event organizers to collect donations through GoFundMe for the causes that are important to them. This option will be displayed with Hopin’s side panel, which means that now attendees can donate without leaving the event experience. Learn more about GoFundMe integration.
We want to provide event attendees with the option to find specific content within an event quickly. This becomes especially important for big events with a large number of stages, sessions, and booths. That’s why we are enhancing our Tag Management capability.
From now on event organizers will be able to create and manage local tags directly within each event area. Also, these tags will be shared through all Stages, Sessions, and Partners areas. To extend this capability even further, we are also increasing the maximum number of tags from 50 to 200.
Pages Consolidations and Updates
We’re making several changes to the Event Dashboard and its pages to provide a more straightforward experience to event organizers. This week we are renaming our Email page to a new page called Marketing.
